Overview

Take a drive in the history with our full day tour of the ancient city of Pompeii and Herculaneum! Our driver will pick you up from your hotel lobby or at the exit of your cruise ship and comfortably drive you to pompeii in a Mercedes van. The iconic Pomepeii is one of the most historical best preserved places in Italy and the world, with a lot of amasingly-well conserved monuments, such as the Forum or the beautiful Amphiteather, where the gladiators games were hosted; basically the partenopean Colosseum! What makes Pompeii unique is the fact that the eruption of the Vesuvius that took place in 79 AD trapped dozens of people in the positions they were when the ash arrived in the city; a unique show available in no other place in the world! Another city touched by the eruption was Herculaneum, mostly destroyed by the Vesuvius as well; here you will admire one of the best well preserved Roman bath systems in the world, a masterpiece for its time. Herculaneum is also home of many of the ancient houses, full of history and precious testimonies, such as the house of Aristides or the Sacello degli Augustali. Here you can deligth your eyes with a lot of frescoes, in particular the most famous one showing Hercules in Olympus with Juno and Minerva. This tour will slowly take you back in time!

     Verified Fantastic Tour and Breathtaking Views with the Best Tour Guide!
This tour was wonderful with such beautiful views and fun adventures! Our tour guide Luigi was the best! He was funny, personable and knowledgeable. Highly recommend the small group too (about 20 people). This allowed us to easily pivot our plans due to the blue grotto being closed (which I assumed would be the case in March). Luigi suggested we reorder a few things to avoid the crowds which was a great idea! Although the crowds weren’t too bad overall I highly recommend going this time of the year too for that reason and the weather helped by only being in the mid-60s.      Verified Capri worth seeing 🫶
The tour, bus and boat ride with Michele was very interesting. Unfortunately, the blue grotto was not accessible on our day of excursion, which is probably only about 90 days a year depending on weather conditions. Even without the grotto, the trip was very worthwhile.

     Verified A very good experience to Capri
A very good experience. Our tour guide, Luigi, was awesome. He had a good sense of humor, good communication skills, helpful recommendations like good places to eat and friendly personality. He took us to the top spots in a planned manner. The only disappointing part was that we could not cover blue grottos completely (we saw it from far from a boat). But that was not tour guide’s fault. It was high tide time and it was not safe to go in blue grottos. However, they had a plan B. We were taken on a boat ride all along the island and also garden pass was exempted (because we couldn’t do blue grottos). That was a nice gesture. All in all, a great experience. I would highly recommend the tour with Luigi :)
